A Passion for Detail

My name is Melanie Jayne Coates & I've always had a passion for sewing.

I have been making bespoke curtains & blinds since 1986, where I trained at a local firm as a school leaver. I have always loved sewing since I was a young child & I was always creating things from scraps of fabric generally found at my nans house.

I always knew I wanted a career where I was sewing for a living, and after 39 years+ I still have the same level of passion as I did the day I started. 

In 2000 I ventured out on my own & I've never looked back. Over the years I have built an amazing customer fanbase, which I hope to continue growing.
